Chapter Eight

People wanted more power and authority to run their lives. They did not know who to consult about their lives. They felt alienated and unable to participate in the political process. They felt like prisoners who had no say in their lives. They felt that laws and regulations were preventing them from participating in the political process. They knew their leaders were dictators. They wanted to fight the oligarchy which had adopted laws against them. People’s lives were extremely lowered that no one had power. They could not inform their leaders about their lives. They wanted to topple the highest echelons of power. They did not have enough influence and capability to form their own laws. They were told to follow the leadership which imposed its power of them. There were twenty leaders who passed the laws. They passed the laws on behalf of the majority. Many unfair laws were passed to the opposition of the people. There were no elections to nominate the leaders. The leaders made act of laws as they felt fit. The media was state run and controlled. The media misrepresented the opinions of the people. They could not protest in any way but led simple oppressed lives. There were told to follow all leaders. People were not happy with the administration which had failed to give them power. Those that failed to follow laws were apprehended and held incommunicado in mass security prisons. The leaders tortured their own people and never released any political activists who had fought for the rights of all people. There were riots which came to resemble quagmire. There was unrest in the public brought by lawlessness. You should respect all authority as it comes from God. People felt that their freedom was being curbed and they felt unhappy about the rule of treachery. There was no one who raised their head in public. Because they feared the consequences and outcome of leading people into opposition. The opposition was crashed by mass arrests and all dissidents were forced to abandon their protests. More people decided to leave the land to migrate to distant lands far away from the community. The leaders issued decrees and orders and imposed a curfew on the people who had brought the land to its knees. The leaders were paranoid and suffered from deep depression. There was a time of mourning and a time of laughter. There was a time of celebration and a time of weeping. A time of joy and a time of sadness. The leaders called for reinforcements to battle against the people – the protesters. There was a commotion in the land and all was not well. Public gatherings were banned.

They imposed fines if any one broke the law or violated the curfew. The leaders met in private to form the laws and legislation. Yet they had no people in mind. They went ahead to form laws as they felt fit. They never were compassionate on those that followed their laws. They led with an iron fist.
